Flip and Fun Gym Bus
Kids Gym “On the Move” program is a unique and innovative way to teach gymnastics and gross motor skills to preschoolers and toddlers. The Kids Gym “On the Move” is a bus that has been converted into a safe gym. It's filled with balance beams, trampolines, bars, rock wall and other fun equipment designed for young children. It is an early childhood movement program set in a non-competitive environment.
Kids Gym is now literally “On the Move.”. We are proud to announce we have expanded our programs to include the Flip and Fun Gym Bus. Our retrofitted school bus houses all the gymnastics equipment you would find in our gym location, however, we are now able to bring it to your door.
When Kids Gym’s “On the Move” Flip and Fun Gym Bus pulls-up in front of your daycare, young eyes light-up like the 4th of July! It's “Gym Bus Day”!! Kids love the gym bus first and foremost because it's lots of fun. During each 30/45-minute class, they stretch, roll, jump, shout, and tumble. But it's lots of learning too. Children will be able to work and play on the gymnastics equipment including a trampoline and rock wall. What traveling gymnastics program can compete with that?
Each week, children learn new gross motor skills through tumbling and movement education. Every skill is progressive and new skills are added each week so the gym bus is always challenging. Lessons are developed for each class and include a theme and skill goals. Theme weeks are exciting for the children because it helps them to share each "Kids Gym bus story" with their families at the end of the day. Kids Gym will provide your center with a binder that includes contracts, registration forms, and each week’s lessons including all music, skills, and special events the children will be exploring.
Because the students are easily contained inside the Flip and Fun Gym Bus, we are able to offer classes for as young as 18 months of age. Our instructors are trained to work with children this young in a class we call Play with Purpose. Instructors will aide the children as they jump, climb, roll, swing, and play.
Daycare Centers and Preschools enjoy a very rewarding partnership with Kids Gym. Centers can add the Kids Gym program to their curriculum at no cost and with very minimal impact on staff. Parents pay for the program. All payments and collections are handled directly between them and Kids Gym.
Safety on Kids Gym Flip and Fun Gym Bus is paramount. Children are NOT
transported during any part of the program...period.
After the Bus arrives at the daycare,
the engine is shut-off and the on-board generator handles all climate control, lighting and power
needs. Kids Gym will provide a 2-way radio for instant communication between Center Staff and the
Bus. Parents and Staff are welcome to observe class activities at any time from the viewing area
in the front of the Bus.
Kids Gym carries full liability insurance coverage through Snyder Insurance - the preferred insurance provider for many similar mobile gym programs across the country.
You may contact the gym office at 822-2332 to schedule an “Open House” at your facility. We can schedule this during the day for your administration and staff or evenings for the parents as well. The bus will be limited to a few daycares each week so call and set up your “Open House” soon.
